CINECINA FILM FESTIVAL, THE ONLY CHINESE LANGUAGE FILM FESTIVAL IN NEW YORK IS OPENING TOMORROW
The Opening Ceremony’s Tickets are Sold Out, with Director Lu Qingyi and the Premiere of His New Movie “Four Springs”
April 4, 2019 (New York, NY) – The first CineCina Film Festival is opening on Friday, April 5th at SVA Theater. The opening ceremony starts at 6:45 PM EST. The film Four Springs, directed by Lu Qingyi will be the opening film. It is also the premiere of Four Springs in North America. Lu Qingyi will attend the ceremony and answer questions from the audience after the screening.
“We are thrilled that the opening ceremony’s tickets are sold out, and are excited to have Mr. Lu here with us,” said Vina Sun, the Founder and Director of CineCina Film Festival. “Four Springs received high critical responses in China, we are glad to see that New Yorkers are also interested in this documentary about a real Chinese family and their daily lives.”
The CineCina Film Festival is dedicated to promoting excellent Chinese films. Taking place from April 5th to 19th, the festival will introduce a wide range of Chinese independent movies include a retrospective of Lou Ye. There will be another screening of the opening movie, Four Springs, at Symphony Space on April 9th. Director Lu Qingyi will still attend and communicate with the audience.
